Who I am
I have been living in San Francisco for 16 years. Originally from Chicago, I lived in Washington D.C. for 4 years while completing my B.A. in International Development at American University. I moved to San Francisco in 2000 and began working in group homes and substance abuse programs. I then attended the Wright Institute in Berkeley , obtaining my doctorate in 2010 and my clinical psychologist license in 2011. Since then I have specialized in treating adults with depression, anxiety and trauma as well as children and adolescents in foster care. In addition to my private practice in San Francisco, I am the Director of Counseling at Opportunity Junction in Antioch, where I provide therapy to low-income adults in the Job Training and Placement Program.
